Tasks as a Development Support Center integrant

 

General problems

All the proposals for software development within the software factory have to be analyzed by the support department. The objective was to guarantee that there was enough work locations, that the department had the necessary software, that there were the necessary connectivity, among other factors.

The main proposals that participated were:

Insurance company:

Analysis of the problems in the systems responsible for the companies Master Data. Some accounts were not being calculated correctly. It was necessary to do an analysis of the necessary effort to fix the problems and to create a formal proposal of a project to execute the corrections.

Bank institution:

A bank had to migrate all of the applications from a proprietary operating system to on that was open source.

Energy Company:

An energy company had to implement a set of system integration through messages.

Telecommunication Company:

A telecommunication company needed an Internet portal to be developed.

I helped auditing an external project:

Company of business credit information:

The head office of a multi-national company of credit information for companies needed an external team to audit the development project being done in their counterpart in Brazil. It had to be analyzed through the technical and management perspective.

I helped in internal activities of the department:

Portal:

The department needed an internal portal to have a new form of communication with it´s employees and collaborators.

Informative from the department:

The support department had to present own service level, the news and informative reports to employees and collaborators.
